Nice summary. I have tried a few of these and am still trying to figure out which I like best.

I like Tweetdeck because I can mute out noise (and it helps followers mute out unwanted noise like #journchat if they're not interested), but I have yet to find something to stand by.

Perhaps integrating with Friendfeed (advantage: real time updates) may help, but that's beyond my area of expertise. I'll retweet this in hopes someone out there may have a suggestion:-).

Thanks for the rundown on what you've tried for the journchat. I'd be more willing to use Tweetdeck if it was possible to change the font size. Tweetgrid sounds like it might be a bit too...convoluted for me to follow easily. I've heard they've made some changes to Tweetchat (including a pause function) that might make it more feasible, so I'm going to try that for next week again.

Best,
Jen
